Disinfecting salon instruments
The routine that keeps a salon out of trouble is simple, and it is the order of the steps that people get wrong.
The order matters
1. Clean
Remove residue, dust and product build-up. A disinfectant cannot work through a layer of gel dust.
2. Disinfect
Apply the product and respect the contact time on the label. Wiping it straight off does nothing.
3. Store dry
A clean instrument put away wet undoes the work.
Concentrate or ready to use
A concentrate is cheaper per litre and suits a salon that disinfects continuously; it has to be diluted exactly as the label says, because under-dosing is the most common failure. A ready-to-use solution removes that risk and suits low volumes and mobile work.

Lavosept® preparations are notified with the Czech Ministry of Health — references are on product registrations. Safety data sheets are on safety data sheets. For a market outside the Czech Republic, ask us what we can supply before you commit.
