Statement on the use of TPO
A formal declaration about TPO in cosmetics — what it is, and why it has never been in our products.
The declaration
Amoené s.r.o., with its registered office at Freudova 415, Příbor 742 58, Czech Republic, company ID 25868501, represented by its managing director Ing. Mgr. Petra Jandourková, hereby declares on its honour that it does not develop, manufacture or distribute any cosmetic products containing the substance TPO (trimethylbenzoyl diphenylphosphine oxide) or its alternative forms such as ethyl (2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl) phenylphosphinate.
Amoené s.r.o. has long focused on safety, transparency and compliance with applicable EU legislation on cosmetic products.
What TPO is
TPO is a photoinitiator — a substance used to start a polymerisation reaction when exposed to UV or LED light. It is most often used in gel nail polishes, where it makes them cure quickly and evenly.
Why this matters to a buyer
If you are sourcing nail products for a market where TPO is restricted, this declaration is the document your compliance team will ask for. The binding version is the Czech original, linked above; write to marketing@amoene.cz for a signed copy.
Ask for availability and an offer
Tell us which products and volumes you are considering and which market you sell into.
