Healthy nails: bases, treatment liquids and oils
Most nail problems in a salon are not a product failure. They are a sequence failure — the right things used in the wrong order, or the last step skipped.
The sequence
1. Prepare
Clean, dehydrate and lightly buff. Everything that follows depends on this.
2. Base
An antibacterial base goes on the prepared plate. It is the layer that protects and grips.
3. Finish and care
Colour or gel, then oil at the cuticle — daily, from the next day onwards.
What each product is for
Antibacterial base
Sits between nail and colour. Its job is adhesion and keeping the space under the layer hostile to bacteria.
Strengthener
For plates that are soft or peeling. It is a course, not a permanent coat — follow the interval on the label.
Treatment liquids
Targeted care for specific problems. Read what each one claims and what it does not.
Cuticle oil
Restores flexibility to the plate and stops the cuticle splitting. The step clients see.
Where cosmetics stop
